It’s been a long while since I’ve made a layout for myself just for fun. I got the pleasure of working with a designer new to me and new to 9th & Bloom and I love her stuff! I used Intoxicating by Secret Stash to create a layout about my sweet Pickle.

This photo was taken just last week and I love how you can see just a hint of attitude in Dominic’s pose. When I look at this picture, I just shake my head and say, “this is all pickle!”
Journaling reads:
Dominic’s nickname is “pickle”… he got it when he first started going to daycare. The woman who watched him called him “Dominicle-Pickle” and the name stuck. Over the years, we’ve rated his mood by calling him “sweet pickle” or “sour pickle”. This nickname has even inspired more… “Dominicelodeon”, “pickle-pie” and “pickle-pants”. I wonder if he’ll still be a pickle in college? No matter how old he gets, Dominic will always be my little pickle… and a sweet one at that!
So here’s a really cool thing… this layout just made the ScrapMatters Gallery Standouts on their blog! Woot! AND it was featured on the Storyboard for Log Your Memory!
