It’s another Fix-it-Friday at i heart faces this week! This beautiful newborn is brought to us by Andrea Riley, an i heart faces contributor. Here is the original photo:

Using Lightroom 3:
~Increased exposure and blacks
~Adjusted white balance
~Turned on lens correction to remove fisheye effect
Using Photoshop CS5:
~Cropped
~Ran Noiseware at low opacity
~Fixed blemishes and removed little booger using the healing brush and clone tools
~Added selective color adjustment layer, reduced black levels in red channel
~Added brighness/contrast adjustment layer, reduced contrast by 20
~Selected Color Range>Highlights, copied to new layer, set to screen blend mode at 10% opacity, then ran Guassian Blur at 15 to add a glow effect (to match the blurring where the baby and blanket meet)
~Brightened up (evened out) baby’s left cheek skin tone using a center fill layer masked to show only left cheek
~Added a touch of hazy yellow by using a very pale yellow color fill layer set to color blend mode at low opacity (20%), then another adjustment layer of levels pushing the shadows to the right for haze, also at low opacity (15%)
~Resized and sharpened for web
