Hi! My name is Holly. I used to be a project manager and technical writer, then I had my sweet Anna, a little girl with multiple special needs. That was in 2001 and in the jumble of doctor’s appointments and therapy sessions, ARD meetings and IEP goals, I’ve discovered photography, digital art, and blogging ~ avenues in which to express and create the magical side of life… one of connections, relationships, and beauty. My search for tranquility is often elusive but the journey is very rewarding.
I am a fine art photographer located in New Braunfels, Texas. Currently, I am shooting personal projects and expanding my fine art portfolio. I display in some local galleries and have multiple images in juried shows around the U.S. I am a photographer for Getty Images and a Darkroom Gallery Master. I am a volunteer photographer with The F.I.L.M. Project which is a group of photographers that gifts professional family portraits to those with a life-threatening illness, and for The Gold Hope Project which provides portrait sessions for pediatric cancer patients. If you are interested in purchasing any of my work, you can reach me by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, by calling 512.994.4460, or through the “Contact Me” form located in the menu on my website.
I am also a digital artist and writer, and this blogsite is where I share my art and personal photos as well as some of my stories about parenting Anna and her siblings, Jenny and Dominic. My digital art work can be found through the Digital Star Design category and parenting stories through the Elusive Tranquility category. I share more about my vision in my Artist’s Statement and you can see my list of publications on my Recognition page. Welcome!
