This week’s theme for the Flickr Macro Monday group is “Once Upon a Time.” From this week’s instructions (from Alan Rust):
We want you to have a Hans on approach with a Grimm outlook to your photography this week, we want you to show us your artistic take on ogres, elves, fairies, characters and items from classic fairy tales and folk stories ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairy_tale ).

We are not looking for anything that originated in comic books, graphic novels, TV Series or movies / films. No photographs of; photographs, book covers, illustrations, video/DVD/CD covers, tv/computer screens or comic books are allowed this week. I’m the Fairest
I wanted to showcase my favorite fruit… the Jazz apple (this one is snack size!)… and connect it to the macro theme of “Once Upon a Time.” Adding a bite mark in said apple and placing it on a mirror nicely ties to my favorite fairy tale, Snow White. I work really hard to maintain my weight and health, harder than the average person. I’m a vegetarian, I eat a LOT of fresh food, and I exercise regularly. Because of my EDS, it doesn’t show like it would on a typical person. Sometimes this frustrates me, other times, I don’t care as much. But I know I’m doing the best I can to answer the age old fairy tale question of “Magic mirror in my hand — who is the fairest in the land?”
