My View
This week’s prompt is “my view” for the Instagram project #portraitsofme. I woke up yesterday morning at 5:17 a.m. to send my husband to Ohio to visit him family. The day loomed long and overwhelming ahead. Both kids home, Anna still sick and Dominic suspended. I had to put my mom face on, but after I had coffee and showered, all I could see were the dark circles under my eyes and how crinkly the skin is getting in the corners. My view doesn’t often reflect what other people see and I am determined to change that this year. I am actively working on eliminating the not-good-enough voice in my head.
