Merry Christmas Eve

The sunrise yesterday was glorious. The kind of start to the day that makes you feel the magic of life… the heartbeat that surrounds us, that envelopes us… the life force that exists in all things, trees, plants, animals, light…

Can you feel it?

Low-lying fog greeted me as I stepped outside to let the dogs out and feed the deer. My fingers itched to grab my camera, I didn’t want to miss this amazing convergence of God’s majesty. Somehow, on this wondrous Christmas Eve, I feel like one of these rays of sun was beaming down, about to illuminate the birth of Jesus.
