Hidden in plain sight, this wee little grasshopper rests for a moment among the petunias. When I see him, my breath catches… can I capture him before he jumps away? I settle, my breathing grows deep, my heart rate slows. I murmur “Hello, may I take your photo please?” I snap, check the image, tweak my composition, snap again. “Thank you, grasshopper.” Ahhh… dreams are beautiful.
