The Photographer Within’s Project 52 ~ A Year in Song has been an amazing journey to watch! Each week, our TPW members continue to inspire me with their artistry and creativity. Our lyrical prompt for Week 34 of The Photographer Within‘s P52 was from Daylight by Maroon 5 and the lyrics we had to shoot were: “I was afraid of the dark but now it’s all that I want.“ In the dark of the night, a tarantula… a real live, hairy, black, huge tarantula… came skittering across my driveway as I walked back from taking the garbage to the curb. I didn’t actually believe they existed in the wild. Did I shriek? No. Did I squish it? No. Did I run away like a frightened little girl? No. I ran to get my camera, attached my macro, fired up my flash, and laid down on the ground to talk to him. I like the dark.
