I’m participating in a blog circle with other Clickin Moms for 2013. August’s challenge was “Motion Blur” where we had to show motion using either a long exposure or use a panning technique (which I have yet to master). I’ve had this vision in my head for a long time and this was a perfect challenge for me to attempt it.
We’ve been in this home for many years, nearly 14 years I think, and there have been times where we’ve felt a presence here. I don’t know if I believe in actual ghosts but there are things that are hard to explain… random noises, something missing, a sudden chill. This is me, a self-portrait, in an old gown, walking down the hallway to our bedroom. I wanted the woman to be blurred, in motion, as she walked away, with parts of her seeming transparent… leaving it up to you and your imagination to decide.
The EXIF for this photo: ISO 100, f/16, SS 1.6, 35mm.
Thanks for looking! Now go see how the very talented Jenny interpreted Motion Blur this month!
