I was recently hired via Thumbtack by a client here in Austin. She wanted a photo restored of her mother as a child taken in 1961. The photo was small, about 3×5, and was in rough shape. It had been bent in half and had creases along the edges, as well as ink marks over the entire photo. After scanning the photo, I got to work. I had a budget to work toward so I could not finish the entire image, but I did get the most important parts restored. Replicating the halftone dot printing technique took precision and my client was very pleased with the result.
Thanks for looking! And remember… a photo restoration might make a wonderful holiday gift to someone in your family this year!
