My workflow using PS CS5:

~Levels adjustment to darken shadows and lighten midtones.

~Brightness/contrast adjustment layer, increased contrast.

~Added center fill light at 20%.

~Added a light yellow solid color fill layer set to color at 15% opacity to warm the image.

~Hue/saturation adjustment layer, increased saturation +15.

~Vignette set to overlay at 10%.

~High pass sharpening layer.
