Taken for February’s “Negative Space” Assignment for the New Braunfels Photographic Society. As of January 31, 2021, there have been 441,000 deaths in the US from COVID-19. I wanted to honor all of those who have passed away, all of those who have lost loved ones, all of those who are still dealing with COVID-19, and all of those who are remaining vigilant. This photo is for you. I lit a candle in honor of your journey, I see you and hold you close to my heart.
