This week’s theme for the Flickr Macro Monday group is “Candy.” From this week’s instructions (from Janet Towbin):
Candy is defined as “any of various confections made with sugar, sugar substitute, honey or syrup, often combined with chocolate, fruit, nuts, etc.” This week you may photograph any type of candy or confection. (FYI: cookies and cakes are not candy even though they might be considered “confections.”) Some examples of CANDY to consider are mints, lollipops, chocolates, gummies, hard candy, nut brittle, taffy, fudge, caramels, toffee, jelly beans, licorice, and yes, even chewing gum. The candy in your photo may be in a wrapper or unwrapped. Our theme of Candy means actual CANDY — not “eye candy” or the girl’s name or heaven forbid, cocaine. Please remember this is a “safe group” so nothing risqué please! Tag your photos with “Macro Mondays” and this week’s theme “Candy” in the Flickr tags section.
Candy Ice Cream
My favorite treat in the whole wide world is ice cream. I adore ice cream. My second favorite treat is candy, especially anything with peanut butter in it. So when you combine my two favorites in one treat? Heaven, bliss, nirvana!!! This is Creamy Creations Peanut Butter Cup ice cream and it is so rich, decadent, and sweet that my mouth waters simply looking at this photo. I got this for my mom over the weekend and she was kind enough to share a scoop for my image… and for my tummy!
New Braunfels peeps… there is a new ice cream shop open with homemade, to-die-for, ice cream located near Creekside. It’s called Tipsy Cow and half of the flavors have alcohol. The Bailey’s Salted Caramel gives me shivers on the side of my face. It’s sooooo good.
