This week’s theme for the Flickr Macro Monday group is “Rust.” From this week’s instructions (from Janet Towbin):
For my first theme I was thinking about me. No, not you …… me, that is my name not “me”. The theme for September 11th is Rust (c’mon hands up, who thought I was going to say Alan ?).
The last time this theme was used was September 2007, so it’s time to capture those patterns and colours / colors again.
Have a look in the attic, garden shed or garage find something metallic that hasn’t been used for a while, or perhaps you see some of the Rust fungi on plants while working in the garden or out walking.
Resplendent Rust
I love going outside and looking around for subjects for Macro Monday… this week’s theme of rust was an easy one for me. We have a round barbell weight that sits beside the pool that my husband uses when swimming. It’s got great rust on it. In fact, I actually used it for a theme the Made of Metal theme in March! I thought it would be a fun challenge to shoot it again with a different point of view.
