Hobby
This week’s prompt is “Hobby” for the Instagram project #portraitsofme. I got my first DSLR in August of 2008 and I learned to shoot in manual mode in August of 2010. This photography hobby has turned into an outlet, a personal growth tool, a memory catcher, and best of all… it’s turned me into an artist. I am proud of my journey and how hard I’ve worked to learn this craft. I’ve studied books, tutorials, online classes… there is always something new to learn every time I look through that viewfinder.
(I caved and colored my hair again… when it turned mostly white in April, I couldn’t take it anymore!)
