I Am Obsessed With
This week’s prompt is “I Am Obsessed With” for the Instagram project #portraitsofme. I didn’t post yesterday because I spent the day glued to the Weather channel, watching Hurricane Harvey ravage Texas, hearing the winds whip our trees around, looking at the water rise, and worrying about flooding. I didn’t think it would be safe to travel to Austin for Marco’s funeral service and memorial so I spent last night watching photos trickle in on Facebook from those that were able to attend. My heart is heavy today thinking of his family and for all of the victims of Hurricane Harvey. And I am so grateful that our community is faring well so far.
