Macro Monday: Poisonous

Monday, June 12th, 2017

This week’s theme for the Flickr Macro Monday group is “Poisonous.” From this week’s instructions:

I’ll be as brief as possible in describing next week’s theme. I hope you enjoy my brevity as well as this new theme.

“Poisonous”

That should do it.

Too Much of a Good Thing

Since losing Cooper, our cockatiel, last week (no sighting of him yet), I am holding my dogs especially close. Our dogs are our family members so we take great care to keep them healthy. When thinking of the poisonous theme this week, chocolate is the first thing that popped into my head. Too much of a good thing can be poisonous to our four-legged friends. Chocolate contains theobromine and caffeine which can cause serious illness and even death.

Glorious Green Grapes

Grapes are another poisonous food for dogs. Isn’t that funny? When I looked up why they are toxic, the mechanism of action isn’t even known.
