In My Bag
This week’s prompt is “In My Bag” for the Instagram project #portraitsofme. Typically this means showing what kind of camera gear I have and how I carry it around. For those that are curious, I shoot with:
- Nikon D750
- Sigma 20mm f/1.4 ART
- Sigma 35mm f/1.4 ART
- Nikkor 85mm f/1.8G
- Nikkor 105mm f/1.8G micro
But for this image, I wanted to show how much I’ve simplified. I used to carry around a large camera bag with at least two lenses on me at all times. Then last year, I created my own camera bag with a Vera Bradley purse and an insert to protect my camera and one lens. This year, I leave my big camera at home most of the time and just take a small bag with my phone and credit card. Here I am rooting around getting my phone out of my bag while I sit in my office.
