Real Life

This week’s prompt is “Real Life” for the Instagram project #portraitsofme. This is my life. I’m in the car all.the.time, every day. Now that we live in the Hill Country, it takes me 20 minutes to get anywhere (like the store or gas) and an hour to get to Austin or San Antonio. Anna and I left the house yesterday around 1:00 p.m. and didn’t get home until 6:00 p.m. We just had lunch and ran errands. Today and Sunday will be spent driving to Hutto (to pick up Jenny, yay!!!) then Dallas (to meet up with the boys and my FIL who are on a fishing trip), then back. Monday is an Austin day (appointments) and the following Monday is a San Antonio day (psych for the kids). Starting Monday, I’ll be spending an extra 2 hours in the car a day dropping Anna off at her new school and picking her up. Yup… real life is in my car.
