My mom volunteers at the Tye Preston Memorial Library in Canyon Lake as a “reader weeder” in which she keeps a patch of landscaping clear of weeds. This little neighborhood library is a very special place, chock full of a huge selection of books, as well as several beautiful gardens. I spent some time in their butterfly garden recently and had some me-time… and found some Zen.
