Heavy hearts this week thinking of the victims of the Memorial Day weekend flooding throughout Central Texas, especially our neighboring communities of Wimberley and San Marcos. As of this post, there are still 9 people missing from the Wimberley flood. My prayers are with the McCombs, Carey, and Charba families as they wait on word of their loved ones. My thoughts are also with my dear friend, Misty, her husband, Anthony, and their incredible daughter, Macie… who suffered from secondary electrocution as she was holding onto the refrigerator door and lightning struck their home and surged through the refrigerator. There is no permanent damage but you can imagine they will be experiencing that trauma over and over for some time.
