Be prepared to be deluged with spring macro pictures in the next few weeks… wildflowers and weeds are starting to bloom. Spring is here and my soul is renewed.
I tried to find the specific species of bee pictured here but despite an hour of searching through hundreds of Google images, I could not identify this specific bee. It’s not a honeybee, it’s not a yellow jacket. It’s a tiny little guy, about 2/3 the size of a regular honeybee with a much leaner body. If anyone knows, please let me know!
