The Photographer Within’s Project 52 ~ A Year in Song has been an amazing journey to watch! Each week, our TPW members continue to inspire me with their artistry and creativity. Our lyrical prompt for Week 33 of The Photographer Within‘s P52 was from from Don’t Let Me Get Me by Pink and the lyrics we had to shoot were: “I want to be somebody else.” I didn’t really have a strong idea for this theme so I looked through what I shot this week and this image stuck out. I’m guessing this cicada died a natural death of old age but seeing him consumed by fire ants makes me think he wishes he were someone else!
