Halloween, FIL visit, annual ARD, Boy Scout campout, final floor plans and elevations… busy and (mostly) good week.
Day 303 ~ Dog with an Attitude
He’s so awkward sometimes, but I do love my Charlie.
Day 304 ~ Mario
Dominic really wanted to be Pikachu for Halloween but didn’t make up his mind until too late. So the night before Halloween we were at the Spirit Store and this was his only option. I think he looks cute! This is the first year in three years that he wasn’t sick on or around Halloween. Thank goodness!
Day 304 ~ Minion
Of course Anna wanted to be a Minion for Halloween. She’s been obsessed with them since July. But Halloween isn’t a holiday that is one she really likes… it hasn’t been a fun one for the family for a while. She gets scared… scared of the little kids, scared of the masks, scared of the dark. This holiday produces a LOT of anxiety and it hardly worth going out. We always end up splitting up… with me coming home early with Anna and Curtis taking Dominic out longer. Sigh. Holidays just aren’t a celebration anymore, yknow?
Day 306 ~ Choices Coming Soon
We finalized our floor plans and elevations and are getting so close to be ready to pick out colors, granites, floors, and everything in between. Any tips for building a custom home? We would be happy to hear them!
Day 306 ~ My New Street
Our lot is in Georgetown and the only thing we didn’t like about it was the street name… Concepcion Cove. Guess what? *I* got it changed!!! Oh yeah, baby! Bella Risa Drive… means beautiful sound of laughter. Perfect.
