Family Vacation and a Wedding

As soon as school let out for the summer, we headed to Arkansas for a family wedding. The drive there was beautiful but we heard there were storms in Oklahoma City, so we went east when we hit Dallas… and it’s a good thing we did since major tornadoes hit the city that night when we would’ve been driving through. We got to Russellville late, very late, but we made it safely. We met up with family the next morning and got to see distant family that we haven’t seen in years. We spent some wonderful quality time with my mother-in-law and my sister-in-law, as well as my father-in-law and his wife. We got to see Curtis’s aunts too, both of whom I adore to pieces. The wedding took place up a very twisty, steep mountain drive that culminated at the gorgeous Mt. Nebo State Park. It was a foggy, wet, damp day. The wedding was beautiful. Anna was enchanted with the bride and treated her like a celebrity. It was so cute. I was not there in any official capacity as a photographer, though I did take my camera of course. Out of respect to the wedding photographer, I did not take any shots during the ceremony, nor did I take any images of the cake cutting, or other milestone moments… but I did focus on capturing my family as well as some of the overall trip. We headed back to Austin after a late breakfast the next day and though it was a quick trip, we had a wonderful time. And huge congratulations to Anthony and Erin!!! Enjoy a few of my favorites!

Thanks for looking!
