“The Way I View”, A Clickin Moms 12-Month Challenge: June ~ Fatherhood

I’m participating in a fun 12-month challenge at Clickin Moms called “The Way I View”. Each month a group of 12 CM photographers interpret that month’s theme through photographs, then link to each other’s blogs.

June’s theme is The Way I View: Fatherhood. It was a tough month in which to get photos of my husband with the kids. First Curtis and I went on an anniversary trip (photos coming soon!), then Curtis got sick with gallstones and had to get his gall bladder out. Last week, I posted a photo of Curtis reading to Dominic at bedtime for my P52 Week 25 (fatherhood theme) but I struggled to get another before the end of the month. For Father’s Day, we gave Curtis a Nikon D90, an upgrade from my old D40 so Dominic inherited the D40. Curtis is beginning to teach him some basics about shooting… focal points and which buttons do what. It is SO cute! Today the Boy Scouts had a hike at the Wild Basin Preserve so Anna and I tagged along. Curtis is Dominic’s den leader and is very involved in the Boy Scouts and that makes me so proud of him. He is an awesome father. I am so lucky to have such a great dad for my kids. <3
