Project 52 [Twenty-Twelve]: Week 24 ~ The Texture of Charlie

The My Four Hens Project 52 theme this week is texture! Since I’ve been back from vacation, I’ve been super duper busy. I had a senior session with the sweetest girl and I had a gallery viewing for a family I photographed before leaving. So my vacation photos haven’t even been on my radar yet. Anna is having a bit of tough time this summer so I haven’t really had time to pick up my camera for personal shooting this week. When I discovered the theme this week, I whistled Charlie over next to the window. With my macro lens, I focused on his eye and hoped to capture some of the depth of his curly wool coat. This is an in-camera crop.

He is such a great dog. When I got home from our trip, he went nuts, jumping and licking and making adorable noises. He was hyper for at least 10 full minutes, longer than the kids!

So here’s Charlie. He’s a Labradoodle and he’s three years old. And he’s my dog. 🙂
