This week’s theme from My Four Hens for Project 52 is color! What better way to incorporate my commitment of using macro with my Project 52 photos than by shooting my daughter’s birthday cake?! Anna, my sweet Booski, turned 11 years old yesterday. She has multiple special needs and even though our lives are quite challenging, we definitely love celebrating when we can. My mother always makes our family birthday cakes and Anna wanted a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting so Nana delivered a homemade cake with her signature homemade frosting. Yummmm!!! She also included some old fashioned candies on top… I forgot how delicious these treats are.
