Every month, we offer 5 new challenges in our Challenge District. For each challenge you complete, you earn one point. Save 12 points to redeem for a $10 gift certificate to 9th & Bloom! I love photography and I’m really excited to be offering new challenges to grow your photography skills each month. After all, scrapping is all about the photos! This month’s theme is using non-traditional focal points. This month’s challenge involves picking a focal point in your composition that is non-traditional. For example, your child is playing in the sand and instead of focusing on your child’s eyes, you focus on the sand pouring through their fingers. Or as another example, you focus on a flag with a soldier is in the background. Make sure your focal point tells a story about the scene. So come on over and join me in the October Shutterbug Challenge!
Since my admin and photography duties have ramped up at 9th & Bloom, I’ve semi-retired from making layouts. I’m still on By Becca’s personal CT and I’m so excited to share her newest release, Hearthsong. The beauty of autumn abounds and Hearthsong captures its richness in gorgeous plums, glorious oranges, and shimmering golds.
