There is a fun challenge at Clickin’ Moms going on right now called Front Door and 50 Steps… where you walk out your front door and walk no more than 50 steps and see what you can photograph. I turned over a rock in our front flower bed and found this little tiny lizard. He was no more than an inch long from tip to tail and he ran off, then sat super still as I got closer and closer with my macro lens. I just love how the critters have been holding so still for me lately! I love the clarity in his eye… you can almost see me in shadow there.
