Our family outing this week was a trip to Fredericksburg, about an hour and 45 minutes southeast of Austin. We stopped in Dripping Springs for lunch at a less than upscale cafe… needless to say that we won’t be dining there again, ahem. But while we were there, Anna donned Daddy’s sunglasses and I just love her expression. Look how her hand is just “so”… oh my goodness, I love her so much!
We had a pretty nice afternoon. Fredericksburg is a very pretty tourist town with tons of adorable shops. I will share a few more photos later this weekend (I’m still trying to make it through the backlog of previous photowalks). On the way home, we could see three separate smoke clouds on the horizon from wildfires. We could smell the fire on the air too. Very scary stuff.
