The beginning of September means we have a whole new set of challenges at 9th & Bloom! If you are unfamiliar with our challenges, they are a fun and easy way to earn cash to the store. Every month, we offer 5 new challenges in our Challenge District. For each challenge you complete, you earn one point. Save 12 points to redeem for a $10 gift certificate to 9th & Bloom! The challenges include: Inspired Impressions, Template Fusion, Vintage Corner, Trendsetter, and Shutterbug. Trust me, these are fun, easy, and can really inspire you to push your creativity!

I love photography and I’m really excited to be offering new challenges to grow your photography skills each month. After all, scrapping is all about the photos! This month’s theme is action… a moment in time that you froze with the click of your shutter. It can be something as simple as a child jumping for joy or as elaborate as an athlete performing in their sport. If your camera has shutter priority mode (usually denoted by an “S” on your dial), then use a high shutter speed (i.e., 1/1000 or more) to freeze your action. The higher your shutter speed, the more crystal clear your shot will be. If your camera has a sports mode, this is also a good choice to freeze those action shots. So come on over and join me in the September Shutterbug Challenge!
