Project 52, week 33

It was a week full of appointments and errands. Dominic had chipped a tooth (from grinding his teeth in the middle of the night and oh gawd, that grinding is loud!) and had a cavity, so he had it filled on Tuesday. He was a silly boy with some happy juice and nitrous, and was very brave. Anna had a hearing test on Wednesday (which also happened to be my birthday) that showed moderate loss… we have to go back in a couple of weeks to follow up. We did some back to school shopping on Thursday. Both kids had their Meet the Teacher nights at their respective schools and I’m already dreading how I’m going to manage to be in two places at the same time every day. We’re going to see how it would work if Anna rode the bus, but it may be too early. She is still sleeping about 12 hours a night! I’ve been on a cleaning out kick and tackled Anna’s closet and room today. it was a big job but her room looks so good now. Her closet had become a dumping ground for old Happy Meal toys and wayward stuffed animals AND everything was coated in a layer of insulation (long story), so it was a big mess. Curtis and I were both so tired tonight that we decided to take the family out to eat this evening and on the way home, this sunset greeted us. I pulled the car over to the side of the road, hopped out and got this shot. There is even a bird silhouetted against the cloud, so pretty. So even though I had photos from the week, this is the one that sang to me tonight. Peaceful, isn’t it?
