It has been a whirlwind few weeks. First our family vacation to Branson (photos still sitting in RAW format on my hard drive), then Curtis and I went to Ohio last weekend to see his mother graduate from college. When we got back, Dominic got sick (again!), then I got sick. So I forgot to post last week’s P52 photo and thought I’d combine them this week. There is only one month left of summer, woot!
Dominic and I were outside for a quick “session” and he just kept talking and talking and talking. I got some wonderful photos with gorgeous catchlights but I kept coming back to this one… I love how the grass bokeh looks painted and how he has his hand wrapped up on one arm. His lashes are so crisp and long, what a beautiful boy.
I took this picture of my husband, Curtis, taking a photo of his mother, Judy, as she was walking into the auditorium for her college graduation. She worked very hard to achieve this milestone, and the entire family is so very proud of her. Congratulations, Judy!!! The auditorium was new and pretty. I had to go high on the ISO so there is some grain, but I love the golden tones here. Curtis is getting really good with my old D40!
