Yesterday it seemed as through the bad news would never stop. Family in crisis, friends battling life-threatening illnesses, unhappy kids… so we packed up the little ones and headed off on a road trip with no destination in mind. It was much needed and really helped ground us again.
We ended up at the Perdanales State Park. It was a gorgeous place with wooded trails, a sandy beach area, and a beautiful quiet river. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. I included two photos with me in them this time (!) that Curtis took with my old D40. I love that we took a photo of each other while taking a photo… aren’t we cute?
